There's a popular notion that writers tend to write about themselves in the stories they tell... A part of them fizzles into every character; if a writer loves a certain type of music, it's almost typical that one of his created fictional characters will love the same kind of music...

Imagine having to become different characters in every story you write. I guess people write for the same reasons others act movies...

The feeling of being free to live, as many lives as possible and still be you.

I guess writing is one of man's futile attempts to grow wings, on paper.
